7 days · 6 nights · Small groups, 8 travellers max
Our longest journey and the one we are proudest of. A week of sand, water and stone, sleeping in canvas camps we set ourselves, eating meals cooked over the fire.
Day 1
Muscat to the dunes
Coastal drive out of the capital, then camp at the foot of the Wahiba.
Day 2
Into the sand
Camel walk at dawn, then a slow day among the dunes and a Bedouin lunch.
Day 3
The wadi descent
Track the waterline down to a hidden swimming pool between canyon walls.
Day 4
Empty coast
Drive to the shoreline for a swim in the warm Gulf and a fishermen's dinner.
Day 5
Dune camp, night sky
A clear evening, tea on the sand, and a sky with no light for miles.
Day 6
Rock fields and forts
Walk the boulder plains, then a mud-brick fort with stories our guides grew up on.
Day 7
Return to Muscat
A final coastal drive and a farewell meal before we take you to the airport.
A short letter when a new departure opens — packing notes, weather and the occasional hidden spot. No noise, once a month.
